DZ Restaurants Supports the Wilton Food Pantry

On June 10, DZ Restaurants held a Corks and Cuisine event at Forno Bisro to benefit the Wilton Food Pantry.  Perfect weather, food and beverage samples from area establishments and lots of great folks made for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.  Thank you DZ!

2018 Empty Bowls a huge success!

The Elks/Food Pantries Senior Delivery Program hits 38 deliveries!

After just a few months in operation, the Senior Delivery Program is now delivering to 38 home bound seniors in 3 locations. Pictured here are Elks volunteers, at the Wilton Food Pantry, readying the bags for delivery.  The number of deliveries is expected to grow as more seniors learn about the program.  Thank you Elks!

The Elks Club & the Wilton Food Pantry join forces to help seniors

Wilton Food Pantry, Elks Club and St Clement’s Pantry begin delivery program

Gotta love those Bulldogs

Once again those wonderful students at Ballard Road Elementary school donated the proceeds from their annual coin drop to local food pantries.  St. Therese of Gansevoort and the Wilton Food Pantry each received $721.39 to continue to assist our food insecure neighbors.  In addition to the money raised they also collected 424 pounds of food.  [...]

WFP volunteers at the annual Thanksgiving ‘Box Build’

10 volunteers gathered together on Thursday, November 16, to put together 92 Thanksgiving boxes for our patrons.  This is an annual project of the Wilton Food Pantry.  Boxes were geared to the size of the families who signed up.  305 people will have a better Thanksgiving thanks to these volunteers.

Both of these fine companies annually do a food drive for us.  And every year they add hundreds of pounds of food to our shelves.  The Pantry has been reaching out to serve more people recently but couldn't do it without help from companies like ACE and Hoffman's.  Thank you!

Young People and Food Drives

The Pantry has had several young people bring food to the Pantry that they collected in their neighborhoods.  Typical is Alexa Howansky who collected 178 pounds for Halloween and brought it to the Pantry.  Thank you Alexa!

Summer Lunch Program-Thanks Target!

Ballston Spa National Bank supports WFP again!

Ballard Road Elementary does it again!

Every year the kids at Ballard Road Elementary raise money and food to distribute to local food pantries. This year they raised $1,650 and 460 pounds of food.  These kids are amazing.  Three local pantries each received $550 to make sure our neighbors do not lack for food.  Thank you Ballard Road Elementary!

First Annual Run for Shelby a huge success!
