One of our High School volunteers has been knitting for months with the aim of distributing her work this December. On Saturday, the 12th, she distributed some of her work to patrons at the Pantry. To say our patrons were pleased would be an understatement. One woman was so touched by the kindness she wept. While most of the knitted items were made by this High School student, some hats were also knitted and donated by a long time volunteer who is retired. Beautiful people at both ends of the age spectrum! We at the Wilton Food Pantry are so proud of the people who generously volunteer their time and talents to help our fellow residents.
